Books For The Road - How Fast Do You Read?

Staples has put together this neat little test to see how fast you read. I tested 12% above the national average. The test is not just for speed but comprehension as well. So if you take it, don't skim. Have a go. The results are interesting at the end. You can see how long it will take you to read War and Peace--should you wish to indulge in heavy reading.

That's amusing. I'll have to have Tyler try that. I'm convinced he's faster than me, or at least close. Although, I'm not sure how accurate the results are. My results were 52% faster than national average once and 4% slower once. :) It should take me anywhere from 25-40 hours to read War and Peace, depending on which result I go with. (I shall only tell Tyler about the 52%.)

Tyler did it twice, too. (You get different stories & questions the 2nd time.) The first time he scored 10% above national average (I scored 4% below!). The 2nd time he scored 35% above national average (I scored 52% above). Regardless of the accuracy, it was entertaining!
